Alcoholic Beverage Permit
The Clayton County Auditor's Office supplies alcoholic beverage application and renewal forms for all Clayton County establishments located outside any city limits who wish to sell alcoholic beverages. The Auditor's Office will also assist the applicant in interpreting the rules and regulations as set forth by the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.

Cigarette / Tobacco Permit
The Clayton County Auditor's Office supplies retail cigarette applications for all Clayton County establishments located outside any city limits who wish to obtain a permit to sell retail cigarettes.

Fireworks Permit
Fireworks Permits are required for the display of fireworks and are issued by the Auditor's Office.

Open Burning Permit
Open Burning permits are needed for a controlled burn to be conducted during a period of time when an open burning ban is in effect, pursuant to Iowa Code 100.40.
